Galliprant effectively treats pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis in dogs. Galliprant is a non-cyclooxygenase (COX) inhibiting, non-steroidal, anti-inflammatory medication. It works by inhibiting the formation of prostaglandins. Prostaglandins are chemicals in the body that promote inflammation, pain, and fever.

Galliprant (grapiprant tablets) should not be given with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) or corticosteroids (for example, aspirin, carprofen, meloxicam and prednisone).

  • Do not use in dogs with a known allergy or hypersensitivity to this medication.
