Product Info

Simplicef is available by prescription only. Simplicef is a cephalosporin predominantly used to fight skin infections and some other bacterial infections found in dogs. Simplicef is used to treat bacterial strains such as Staphylococci, Streptococci, Escherichia, Pasteurella, and Proteus. Simplicef works by inhibiting the growth of the bacterial cell wall. The cell wall becomes unstable and ruptures, causing the bacterial cells to die.
