Galliprant requires a prescription from your veterinarian. It effectively treats pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis in dogs. Galliprant is a non-cyclooxygenase (COX) inhibiting, non-steroidal, anti-inflammatory medication. It works by inhibiting the formation of prostaglandins. Prostaglandins are chemicals in the body that promote inflammation, pain, and fever.

  • Do not use in dogs with a known allergy or hypersensitivity to this medication.
