How to Use

Cautions

Keep out of the reach of children and pets. Chronic use of steroids or high doses of steroids can result in hyperadrenocorticism. Depo-Medrol may mask symptoms of serious infections. Monitor your pet and speak to your veterinarian if you notice unusual behavior. Depo-Medrol is not for human use. Do not use Depo-Medrol if your pet is pregnant or nursing. Use Depo-Medrol cautiously if your pet suffers from chronic heart failure, Cushing’s syndrome, diabetes mellitus, hypertension, or osteoporosis. Tell your veterinarian about any pre-existing conditions your pet may have. Do not give Depo-Medrol with NSAIDs. Depo-Medrol should not be given along with Rimadyl or other NSAIDs as there is an increased risk of GI ulcers. Use of corticosteroids with an active infection without the concurrent use of antibiotics could result in a severe infection. Store Depo-Medrol at room temperature.
